National Park Val Grande - sheer wilderness

Discover the largest wilderness area of Italy! Two valleys which since many decades are completely abandoned. Nature reconquers everything and covers every trace of civilization - but the signs are still discernible. Walk through apparently unspoiled forests and mountains and discover at the same time the traces of history! Enjoy the infinite silence and remoteness of this wild scenery.

Just send me an email and I will be glad to answer your questions and to organize an unforgettable trip through the National Park for you.

There are three categories in which you can classify your skills:

For all beginners and tourists, who want to have an extraordinary experience without being specially trained; normally one day hikes but up to three days is possibile upon request.

Moderately difficult

For all passionate hikers, who have a good head for heights and are well experienced in mountainous terrain; on several days hikes you can discover nearly all the highlights of the national park sleeping in basic shelters.

For all passionate hikers, who do absolutely not suffer from vertigo, are very well trained and more or less pros in mountainous terrain; the use of the hands may sometimes be necessary - but also in this category there will be no climbing, only hiking! A very good fitness is essential!
